FDA Issues Final Guidance on Drug and Medical Device Company Dissemination of Journal Reprints

On Tuesday, January 13, 2008 FDA issued its final Guidance to industry for the dissemination of scientific reprints and reference texts.  There are a number of key differences between the draft guidance and the final guidance, reflecting some responsiveness on the part of FDA to comments received from the public, industry, and the medical community.  Nonetheless, plenty of head scratching remains.  We’ll seek to parse out some of these issues in the next few weeks.  Read up.  Go here. http://www.fda.gov/oc/op/goodreprint.html
